seedream is most commonly pronounced "seed reem" (/ˈsiːdriːm/). This is the widely-used reading among engineers, though edge cases exist.
ByteDance Seed's text-to-image model (Seedream 4.0/4.5, 2025-2026; 4K). Portmanteau of Seed + dream, parallel to siblings Seedance (Seed+dance, video) and SeedEdit — so SEED-reem, not see-DREEM. STRESS: SEED-reem (primary stress on first syllable). The Seed prefix is ByteDance's research division.
