reflexion is most commonly pronounced "rih flek shun" (/rɪˈflɛkʃən/). This is the widely-used reading among engineers, though edge cases exist.
Reflexion is a foundational LLM-agent self-reflection technique (Shinn et al., 2023, "Reflexion: Language Agents with Verbal Reinforcement Learning", arXiv:2303.11366), cited across agent frameworks. Despite the 'x' spelling it is pronounced exactly like "reflection": rih-FLEK-shun. STRESS on second syllable (FLEK). The 'x' here is /kʃ/, not /ks/ + separate vowel — do not say "re-FLEX-ion"; non-natives sometimes second-guess against "reflection" but the two are homophones — "reflexion" is just the older British orthography. IPA per Oxford Learner's Dictionary /rɪˈflekʃn/.

Pronouncing project and product names correctly avoids the small but persistent friction of being gently corrected during standups, conference Q&As, and team calls. Hearing the word a few times locks in the right reading better than reading IPA ever will. Pronounce is a community-maintained dictionary — every entry tagged with a confidence level and (where possible) a citable source.
