SGLang's automatic KV-cache reuse mechanism — a radix tree over the KV cache for prefix sharing; coined by LMSYS (2024). Compound of "radix" + "attention". STRESS: RAY-diks-uh-TEN-shun (primary on RAY, secondary on TEN). "radix" is /ˈreɪdɪks/ (RAY-diks, the standard dictionary form per Wiktionary/Cambridge), NOT "ra-dicks" or "ra-tix"; final cluster is "-ks" not "-tx". Often mispronounced by non-native devs as "ratix"/"radicks". Alt /ˈrædɪks/ (RAD-iks) is a secondary variant.
